How does it work?

• Following your enquiry or contact on your behalf from a professional service e.g. Occupational Therapy or Environmental Health, our Caseworker will visit your home to discuss and advise on your requirements.
• You will be asked by our Caseworker whether you wish Staying Put Services to act as your agent. Your instructions will be paramount at all times.
• You will be advised whether you are eligible to apply for a grant, if not, other means of raising finance e.g. equity release, to enable the works to take place.
• Should grant funding not be an option we are able to carry out private works on your instruction.
• In full liaison with you our Surveyor will draw up a specification for the works and where appropriate the necessary drawings.
• We have a select list of Approved Contractors who are very experienced in works of this type who will be carrying out the works to your home.
• We will visit regularly to inspect the works while they are in progress and carry out comprehensive checks on completion.
• We will keep in close contact with you throughout this process and keep you fully informed of what is happening.
