How can I visit Furnish as a client?
Furnish is not open to the public. The high demand for our
gifted furniture means that we have to target our service on those
most in need. Frequently families or single people moving into a
home of their own for the first time, often from bed &
breakfast accommodation.
Clients have to be referred to Furnish by a recognised agency that
supports families or vulnerable single people. There is an
extensive list of nearly 70 agencies recognised by Furnish.
However, Furnish always welcomes new agencies.
To become a client of Furnish you need to be receiving a state
benefit. If this is the case contact your Housing Officer, Social
Worker or other support agency such as Age Concern, or your local
Citizens Advice Bureau.
