SPS wins contract to provide FREE health trainer service

Staying Put Services (SPS), part of the Shepherds Bush Housing Group has won a contract to provide Hammersmith & Fulham residents with free health consultations. Residents are invited to book a free health consultation appointment from late April onwards, with the new Health Trainer service.

Josh Wellman, Kimberley Surla and Naami Padi are the new Health Trainers on hand to offer tailored advice, motivation and practical support to people who want help to adopt healthier lifestyles.

The service is a practical resource helping to connect people with services at a local level. Individuals will be able to receive support over a six month period, for the following public health issues: obesity, smoking cessation, alcohol excess, mental and emotional wellbeing, sexual health and healthy eating and nutrition.

SPS have been commissioned by the Hammersmith and Fulham Primary Care Trust to provide this service over a three year period.
