LGBT Jobfair

Shepherds Bush Housing Group (SBHG) is exhibiting for the first time at the London Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Jobfair on Wednesday 5 March.

It is a safe and welcoming space for people from this community - estimated at around 700,000 in London alone - to spend time with employers, directly, in an easy relaxed atmosphere, and look at careers and opportunities for the benefit of all; an event described as 'Diversity in action'.

The event, currently in it's second year, is taking place at the Royal National Hotel, Russell Square, London WC1, from 11am to 5pm. Targeted largely towards graduates and undergraduates, the aim is to reach a number of LGBT people. Come along and visit the stand for gifts and information about working in housing.

There will be a number of organisations present including, Barclays Bank, Allen & Overy, Transport for London, as well as a CV Clinic, community groups, information services, and volunteer agencies. The Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone, and the Independent newspaper are core supporters for the event.
