About Staying Put Services
Staying Put Services are a charity and exist to provide quality
and accessible services in order to ensure a better quality of life
for clients living in West London and beyond who are in housing and
health related need.
Our main objectives are to contribute towards the relief of
poverty, sickness and distress, particularly among older people,
young people and children, those at risk of homelessness with
mental or physical health problems or suffering other disability or
deprivation, through the provision of accommodation, advice,
support, facilities, and services to improve the lives of those in
need.
Housing Advice Service Kensington
& Chelsea
Housing Advice Services Kensington & Chelsea (HASKC)
provide free and independent housing advice to people living,
working or studying in the Royal Borough of Kensington &
Chelsea.
Furnish
Furnish collects gifted furniture and then recycles it to
families in need referred to it by its funders. Furnish also
provides ancillary services such as removals, void clearance,
storage, and the provision of new furniture. Furnish also provides
employment and volunteering opportunities for local
people.
Well-being Project
The Well-Being Project is a community based health improvement
initiative which tackles health inequalities. It provides a variety
of projects such as Food and Nutrition, Carers and Early
Years.
Small Repairs
The Small Repair Service is targeted at people aged over the age
of sixty or who are vulnerable and carries out a variety of tasks
ranging from changing tap washers to fitting minor aids and
adaptations with the aim of enabling people to maintain their
independence and remain in their own homes.
Volunteer Project
The Volunteering Project aims to support volunteers to provide
effective support to Staying Put Services as well as enhancing
their own lives.
Home Improvement
The aim of the Home Improvement Agency is to improve peoples
living conditions which should lead to improving health and a
better quality of life and enable them to remain in their own home.
We assist people living on a low income to repair, improve and
adapt unfit or unsuitable homes and improve their feeling of safety
and security.
